What a special spot! We have so enjoyed our stay at Wetherlam View (with friends staying at Lowfield House). We have walked and walked, run, built rafts, enjoyed lazy meals & had the best time!

This is most definitely the best holiday we have had in the lake district after visiting for many years. Wetherlam View is Amazing!! The house is fantastic, fully equipped with everything we needed and more, with the most amazing views.
We have had two weeks of the best weather known to man in the lake district and as such we have not had much use for the Sauna or TV. The days have been centred around the house, walking, biking or on Lake Coniston, with most evenings spent mesmerised by the views from the balcony.
The dog wash has been a life saver but I think our Cockapoo will be glad to see the back of it!! High park farm tea garden is a must for homemade scones and cakes. Homemade cakes are also a must from the farm at the rear of the house on the path to Elterwater. We have eaten at the Three Shires, New Dungeon Ghyll, Britannia and force café, all great food. Unfortunately, our stay has come to an end and let the next lucky guests enjoy Wetherlam View.

Excellent accommodation, well thought out and very comfortable. Superb location, with amazing views. Just fall out the front door and go on some spectacular walks!
We had an amazing relaxing time, weather was hot and plenty of sun, for the UK. Did some great walks.
Lanty Slee @ the Stickle Barn was a great find, delicious cakes and great coffee!
Food at the Lanty venues was very good, all very different. Katie at the Three Shires was brilliant and very helpful. Zefferellis in Ambleside does good veggie food.
Had a brilliant time. Enjoyed sitting and enjoying the spectacular views, with a beer at the end of the day. We will definitely be back.
OMG! what a place. What views, House is absolutely fantastic, beautifully furnished, Stunning views from the patio and balcony, with added bonus of the dog wash. We had the hottest week of the year so had little use of the sauna.
Hardly used the car with all the walks from the door. Loved early morning and evening walks to Slaters bridge and Blea Tarn for stunning sin rise and sun sets.
Morning walks followed by breakfast on the patio in full sun and only birdsong was fantastic. Evenings on the balcony with a cold beer couldn’t have been better.
James and Jan have been fantastic from booking to providing information, updates and even welcome packs for dogs and humans. Already booked for 2027 – can’t wait!
A wonderful week spent in the Langdales. Weather was very kind to us despite the forecast. Great trips out to the Pikes, Wastwater, Hardknott Fort, Rydal inc the caves
Lovely walks direct from the house including Elterwater, Skelwith, Tarn Hows and of course Cathedral Caves. Not to mention Lingmoor Fell for the more adventurous!
The house worked really well for us. The sauna very much appreciated after being taken up Scafell Pike!!
Clearer nights were great and the views fantastic.
Looking forward to a return trip.

Walking up Wetherlam, Prison band work how was hard, but the views are really worth it. Also, make sure to visit the local Cathedral Caves. One for the list should be The Drunken Duck Inn - lovely!

Had a great time. The house is amazing. Lazy days watching TV. Perfect place to chill and unwind. When weather not very good.
Got a good walk in yesterday, 8 miles, Pike O’Brisco, Cold Pike and Crinkle Crags.
